Show / Hide group of layers

Me again,

I've tryed your script and it have some issue.

1- The button layer's buttons must be emty or else at first because the 0 (default) layer cannot be renamed.

2- For some reason, some layers that was not choose, was activate also. Dose that depens on the name on those layers?

It will not show layer 0 when you run it.

The "Toggle" button work as a toggle - the layers that are Off will be turned ON and the layers that are ON will be turned Off. The original script works the same way.

What about If I can choose multiple layers at the same time in the dropdown list? So I'm not limited to only two selection.

You can't do this with a single dropdown list. Multiple ddl have to be used. Here is a version that allows 10 layers to be choosen:
