Searching for a smart way to render multiple objects with numerous materials in 2 camera Perspectives

Hi Guys,

like the topic says, i am searching for a resolution to automate my rendering process. I have to render 12 different products in 16 materials and two camera perspectives.

I tryed around the Scene States in combination with Batch Render and the State sets in Max but i can't believe, that my task ist so complicated to do with max. As a former Modo user i know there are easy and smart resolutions.

Am i overseeing anything oder could you suggest me scripts / plugins for this job?
