Its not so bad, but is not appropriate for cars animation, because realy only the wheels direct the path shape tangent and body direction should be calculated...so its for simple tasks. On other hand the not constant velocity property is very useful, so basically it depends on the project. If u provide more info maybe I can give you hint.
