Tape tool with snappable distance-adjusted target

Hello ScriptSpotters!

Well I am looking for a script or a technique to make a Tape with snapable distance target. tape tool has a one target, but when u set the distance it gives you no secondary target for u to snap ur objects to adjusted distance.
this comes in use when I want to divide my polygon in slant position.
