slate view selected

hi all
i cant seem to find the code to getting a material from an object into the slate material editor from maxscript
im looking all over the maxscript help file and i just cant find it
i know there is a link for a script around here somewhere , but i really need the code , anyone found it ???
it will be a great help if anyone knows or has any ideas

meditMaterials[1] = $Box01.material

will put the material applied to Box01 in the first slot of the material editor.

thanks man but i dont think it works for the "slate material editor"
just for the standard on .
