Hello,
This may be the wrong place to ask this question. But I am desperate. I have these 2 problems.
I am using 3ds max 2009 and I keep getting frozen shadow on the screen. I have tried everything I have found in the net but didn't work. So if there is anyone with any suggestion please let me know.
The second issue is I use to know what is the short key for the show pivot point so I can move it without going to the pivot editer. So can someone remind me. Thank you all.

"The second issue is I use to know what is the short key for the show pivot point so I can move it without going to the pivot editer" If you mean the [Affect Pivot Only] button, which allow you to move the pivot of the selected object - open the Customize User Interface and search for "Affect Pivot Only Mode Toggle".

but you should be able to fins something else for 3ds Max you are using. Assign a hotkey and start using it.

Yes you are correct, but I forgot what the function is called. If you can tell me the name of the function that will be great.

In Max2012 the function is called the same way -> "Affect Pivot Only Mode Toggle".
So, check your Customize User Interface the same way as in the image in my previous post.
