basic dotnet form problem

Loving using dotnet controls in max, but I've been having a very basic problem, that I cannot crack.
I'm finding that if I load a new scene while my dotnet control is open, I have to restart the tool to get it to work, the controls are just dead until I re-initialise the tool.
How do I avoid having to do this?
