Add Modifier in a Script Plugin

Hi All man :)

I have building a script Plugin to create a plane and everything is ok.

But now, I do not understand how do I add a modifier (Bend, Tessellete ecc.) within the plugin to change the plan properties... It should NOT be visible in the Stack... is it possible?
