Description

This script converts (blue) pelt edge-selections into normal (green) texture seams.
It is used to skip the tedious manual parting process and it creates instantly separated UV parts.

Mainly for use with Unwrella 2.

There's an extra button for clearing all seams from the mesh.

Last Update: max 2013 compatibility, detailed tutorial video added

Additional Info

The script is self-explanatory. The tutorial video covers all aspects of the usage. I am sorry for the long prelude of the tutorial video, explaining step-by-step how to install a max-script, but i got tired of daily emails "hi dude, where can i find the max-script folder" If you have some constructive feedback or additional wishies, please feel free to contact me anytime! thanks igor posavec www.3d-plugin.com www.3d-io.com

Hi Zanda85. This is strange; why don't you write in http://forum.3d-plugin.com/ , as customer you have there 24h support and help. No one here can help you :( As first tip, I think you have to allow Unwrella 2 to use a higher texture stretch.

I haven't had much luck with this plug in. I purchased unwrella 2 and so far I am pretty unhappy with the results. Despite selecting where I want the seams to be placed using this plug in, unwrella seems to ignore them and just place the seams where it wants.
