Cool script.
Regarding the split render. I am using an old script that might be useful if sourcecode is there

It doesn't support other image formats which is a bummer.

Not working in my Max 2011. I've attached a screen capture.
CORRECTION:
Working now. I had to attempt to send a job for it to get the job name or something? I dunno.

I updated the job name so it shouldnt be throwing this error anymore.
