miauu's Slate Material Cloner allows you to:
- Clone materials across Slate Material Editor tabs/views. Materials can be cloned as instances or copies, as many times as needed, in any tabs/views you choose.
- Export and Import with Layout Preservation. Export selected materials to a .mat file with their original node positions preserved. When imported, materials are restored to the exact same layout in the Slate Material Editor.
- Quickly Copy and Past selected materials between two or more open 3ds Max sessions, preserving their full layout.
The tool's user interface is fully integrated into the Slate Material Editor - no additional UI is required.
