I wonder why you would encrypt a funny little script like this? Is it an epic algorithm of D00M you are using to generate the knobs? :-P

Anubis · 2010-07-21

Oh no, nothing genius hide-in, at least from my point of view, and that means its not the eligible source to learn from, there's why I encrypt the code :)

a little question anubis, why its in scripted primitive category, your tools is my collection can you change the category like anubis tools or something like that in command panel ? you had it and you're the maker, dont shy to make your category. else nothing to say, its an excelent tool.

thank

Thanks Fajar, I glad you liked my script. Usually people rarely share more than one plugin, and creating a separate category for 1-2 plugs seems pretty unsorted to me, but my shared plugins become 6 so now has sense to sort them :)

I attach to the list new edited version (KnobAnubisPrimitives.mse) that will appear into "Anubis Primitives".

I'm not sure if this notice is required but just for safety I'll insert an install note:
The new version has the same ClassID, that means you can install only one of them.

Enjoy

Nice job Anubis ;) This script is very, very fun and useful :) :) One point to you ;)

can you make the number of holes adjustable?

Anubis · 2010-07-17

I'm also thinking about a variable number of holes. This can be done easily with boolean operations, but unfortunately, the end result (after smoothing) is lamentable :) I may give more time on this someday.

Yep hehe, it seems :D , scripting for fun is a good way to relax.

I think you have too much time :D But when I ever have a need for knobs, I now know where to go!
