Thanks for your script !
Just one question: how can I make a braid without taper ? even when I put taper to 0 it still is tapered. I also tried to put rad1 to 1 and rad2 to 1. Still tapered.

Aren't you forgot a lib ? I tried but didn't work with the Rollout Handler Exception " No ""select"" function for undefined " when button "Group splines" pressed .

You have tested older version(fibermesh2hair) .in new version(braided hair) you will able to make pattern and generate braiding hairs.
