render multiple max files very easy with this script.

 

how to use :

Drag this script in Max or run via MAXScript -> Run Script.

Render settings will be used from the files unless you overwrite them.

If you need more info, just comment. I hope the interface is obvious.

With this script you can open and close single or multiple groups in 3ds max. There is also a possibility to select all object in the scene – the “select all” Button. This script is tested at 3ds max 2016 and 3ds max 2021.

Place Objects according to normal

This script will place objects according to the normal of the face you place them on.
You can add multiple objects in a list and let the script random pick one of those, or disable the random button and choose yourself.

Script features:

- Add multiple objects to a list and start placing them.
- Place them with the first click, then move your mouse to rotate the object and click again to confirm.
- Cancel placement at any time.
- Random select objects from the list.
- Add a Z-Offset to the objects.
- Place objects according to the normal they are placed on.

I created this script to speed up my daily work with crowd animation. If you have a lot of character studios rigged bipeds and need to load the same animation (walk loops, conversation...) on all of then, so this script might help you.

It's a .mzp file that you can just drag and drop into 3ds Max or run through the MAXscript menu. After that you will find the script at: Customize > Customize User Interface > Toolbars tab > Category: MMScripts > Load Multiples Bips".

To use the script you just need to:

Randomize multiple object properties is something useful, but the randomizer I found in the internet they always randomize only position/rotation/scale.
Then I was working creating this plugin to randomize every property or parameter from multiple objects.

Okey I know there are some similar scripts outhere, but I created one I hope people will find this one useful.

- Create or add a maincamera
- Add other cameras
- Key a camera to switch
- You can easily change timing by drag the keys
- Realtime preview (because the use of one main camera)
- Render out the mainCamera
